Phil lives on site and keeps the operation running smoothly. As a former EMT in Fairfax County, Phil brings a calm preparedness and unflappable confidence that the dogs seem to understand and appreciate. Phil has many fans both dog and human who are truly grateful for the kind care he and the staff provide.
Pond Run
The pond is a key feature at Country Dogs. Given the circular nature of the run, the more intrepid campers run around it like a racetrack. Of course, some just prefer to sit and soak.
1 Barn + 2 Cabins: In addition to the original barn, the DC/NOVA farm has two new cabins. With heated tile floors for the cold winter months and with AC for the occasional heat wave, the cabins are cute and comfortable for dogs of any size. But they much prefer bubble-blowing time with the staff.
